Animate your ad creatives with Ad Animation

A step-by-step guide to turn static creatives into engaging video ads.

To get started, go to Video ads and click Ad Animation.

1. What is Ad Animation

Ad Animation turns your static creatives into engaging video ads applying winning motion frameworks.

With Ad Animation you can:

Animate any static creative or uploaded image in minutes
Pick AI-suggested animation scripts tailored to your creative
Generate video ads ready for any ad platform

2. Select your static creative

Choose a static creative to animate using one of the following options:

Select from My ads

Click Select static creative.
Browse your creatives under All creatives or filter by Static.
Click a creative to select it.

Upload an image

Don't have a static creative in Promer yet? Click Upload image to use your own ad.

For best results, use a static creative in 9:16 or 16:9 ratio. Common ratios like 1:1 and 4:5 may still work but could include black bars around the edges of your video.

After selecting or uploading, Promer analyzes your creative and prepares animation scripts.

3. Choose animation scripts

AI suggests animation scripts tailored to your creative. Each script offers a different type of motion for your ad.

Every script includes:

Tags: quick preview labels that describe the animation style and focus
Brief: a short description of what the animation will look like
Effect: the specific motion technique applied to your creative

To select a script:

Browse the suggested scripts under Choose animation scripts.
Hover over any script to preview the animation.
Click a script to select it.

You can also click Add my idea to write your own animation direction, or click More scripts to generate additional script options.

4. Customize your settings

Use the bottom bar to adjust your video settings before generating.

Aspect ratio

Choose the ratio for your video ad:

9:16 - Stories, Reels, TikTok
16:9 - YouTube, landscape placements

Quality

Select the video resolution. HD 720 is the default.

Duration

Set the length of your animation. Currently supports 8 seconds (more options are coming soon).

Sound

Turn sound ON or OFF for your animation.

5. Generate and download your video ad

Finally, Click to generate video and wait for it to be completed within a few minutes , then download it.
