How to use Ad Concept

Set up your creative direction and generate diverse ad concepts in just a few steps.

1. What is Ad Concept


Ad Concept helps you explore different creative angles for your product and turn them into high-converting ad creatives.


With Ad Concept you can:


  • Generate multiple ad concepts, each with a unique angle and message
  • Get AI suggestions for product highlights and ideal customer insights
  • Scale winning concepts by generating more creatives



2. Select your product image


Choose the product image you want to generate ad creatives for using one of the following options:


Select from your existing products


  1. Click Select product to browse your product images.
  2. Switch between Shopify products and Added products tabs to find the one to create ad. Use Search products to search by product name.
  3. Click Select on the product image you want to use.






Add a new product


Don't have a product image in Promer yet? Click add product to upload one directly:


  • Enter product URL: paste a product link from Amazon, Shopify, or any store.
  • Upload product image: drag and drop or click Upload image. Use a JPG, PNG, or WEBP file (max 20 MB).






Tips for selecting the right product image


Your product image directly affects the quality of generated creatives. Keep these tips in mind when selecting or uploading:


  • Use clear, high-resolution images. Blurry or low-quality photos make products hard to see.
  • Show the full product in frame. Avoid cropped or partially hidden products.
  • Keep backgrounds clean. Cluttered or busy backgrounds distract from your product.
  • Avoid glare, shadows, or blur. These reduce clarity and hurt the final results.
  • **Remove text, stickers, or watermarks. **Overlays can interfere with AI-generated layouts.




3. Define your concept direction


Click Define concept to set up your creative direction. This shapes the look, feel, and messaging of your ad concepts.

4. Review AI analysis


Once you save your concept direction, Promer analyzes your product image and generates insights to guide the ad creation.


  • Product highlights: key selling points from your product
  • Ideal customer: the customer profile your ads can target to
  • Pain point: problem your ideal customers are facing
  • Need: core desire your product addresses


You can edit any field directly or use the AI suggestions and More options to refine your inputs.




5. Customize your settings


Use the bottom bar to fine-tune your results before generating.


Aspect ratio


Choose the ratio that fits your ad platform:


  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram feed): 1:1, 4:5
  • Stories, Reels, TikTok: 9:16
  • Google Display, YouTube: 16:9, 1.91:1
  • LinkedIn: 1:1, 1.91:1


More ratios are available in the selector.


Number of concepts


Select how many ad concepts to generate.



Concept language


Select the language for your generated ad concepts. The language setting applies to concept details and ad creatives.


Promer supports 10 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, and Vietnamese.



6. Generate and discover your concepts


  1. Review your selections: product image, concept direction, AI analysis, ratio, and number of concepts.
  2. Click Generate.
  3. Wait a few minutes while A generates your ad concepts.


Your results appear under Generated ad concepts. Each concept includes a unique name, target audience, and core idea.


Use Concept view to read the strategy behind each ad. Use Creative view to see the visuals.



View concept details


  • Click View concept details to see the target audience, core idea, and supporting insights. This helps you understand why each concept works and scale with confidence.
  • Click bookmark icon to save the creative in your library, or click Download to export it as an image ready for any ad platform.







Generate more creatives


Found a concept that resonates your brand? Click More ad creatives to generate additional creatives based on the same angle.
